I’m going to start off on the color b/c if it weren’t for someone elses review I would have thought I was getting a brown and pinkish colored stroller.I don’t think any description I read in regards to this stroller told the colors.
Either way, Pink is NOT the case. The fabric colors are dark brown, cream & a lighter burnt orange. The pattern on the fabric (the seat part) are giraffes. My husband and I love the color & the designs we are excited its not another pink thing to add to the other pink stuff we have for our daughter. Its unique & a bit vintage looking.
I really wanted a Graco full size stroller & would have bought one if they had one with fabric I liked and weren’t all travel systems, we already had a car seat. I went back and forth between this one & some others that were actually higher priced & had better reviews & less features. I came back to Graco b/c I have had a stroller from them in the past & this stroller had everything I wanted. There is a great info video on youtube in regards to the metrolite stroller. That video was basically what made me finally decide on this stroller. I read a lot of complaints in regards to pushing/steering this stroller. My husband said it best by saying you have to push it like a lawn mower. So if that is a down fall it’s the only one in my opinion.
This stroller is affordable, light weight, stylish & has all of the great features you would get with a regular sized stroller, such as cup holder, storage compartment, adjustable handles, full reclining seat for infant/newborn, large basket good for shopping bags or diaper bag & it folds up nicely (there are more features than these, this is just some of them). I think that your getting more than your paying for, I have found strollers with far less features, priced for much more money & I am so happy that I choose this one!
GRACO NEEDS TO MAKE IT SO YOU CAN GET ALL FULL SIZED STROLLERS IN ANY DESIGN OF FABRIC. HUNTING THROUGH ALL OF THEIR DIFFERENT PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH DIFFERENT SELLERS WAS RIDICULOUS!!!

This stoller was purchased as baby shower gift for my sister. The stroller is light and has large wheels and is sturdy. It also has a matching car seat that fits into the stroller very nicely, which needs to be purchased separately. It was not too difficult to put it together. My sister really likes the stroller as it is very easy to use and collapses easily to place into the trunk.
The reason that I gave this 4 stars vs. 5 stars is the fact that the handle, although adjustable for height, does not move towards the front to be able to see the baby. It is only pushed in the back. (It does have clear cover to see the back of the baby). For the sale price of $199.00 at a department store, this stroller should be able to have a handle that can be moved either towards the front as well as the back. The price that I paid on Amazon was extremely reasonable at $145.42 included shipping and tax. (Original full retail value at Toys ‘r us or Babies ‘r us is over $300.
I ordered on a Monday, 9/28/09 it arrived within the time frame specified, I believe it was 9/29/09 and shipped by Fed Ex. It was from BabyAge, and they are located in Pennsylvania. The box was damaged at the bottom but believe it happened during shipping by Fed Ex. The stoller was packed very well and the damaged, bottom portion of the box was reinforced or covered in additional carton on the inside. The stoller was in perfect condition when we put in together.
