Zooper Twist Stroller, Black Waves
I normally don’t do reviews, but wanted to put mine out there since when I was researching umbrella strollers, there weren’t many for the Zooper Twist 2010. Overall, I’m pleased with the stroller. My 5 month old son LOVES it! He is big for his age (18 lbs) and he has plenty of room to grow. He loves to sit in it and often naps in it as well. The seat is padded and seems very comfortable.
The sunshade is great, MUCH larger than most umberella strollers! The adjustable leg rest is very nice especially if you are using this for an infant. The handles are also higher than most, but my feet still occasionaly hit the wheels and my husband, who is 6’5″ complains of this, but I think that would be the case with any other stroller. The recline is really nice… it can be put both down and up with one hand and is very easy. The full recline is almost flat and works well for changing diapers as well.
I find that you can’t push this stroller with one hand although some people above disagree with this… when using one hand, the stroller does not maneuver easily at all. Also, our rear brakes seem to always be disconnected when opening and closing. However, this is an easy fix, so it really doesn’t bother me much.
I was able to close the stroller one handed and I don’t think I could open it one handed. Either way, it is a very easy open/close, you just can’t seem to open it one handed.
I do love the Zooper Twist, I just wish I owned a Maclaren for one day in order to compare!!

I LOVE THIS STROLLER!!!!
I researched several strollers as I needed many different types of features: a huge canopy, a multi-position reclining seat, a rain cover, easily maneuverable, suspensions…you name it, i needed it.
I went to several stores to test out the strollers but nothing came close to this one. Many lacked suspension or a proper canopy, for example, a common problem. I tried the Maclauren for its hype…I just hated it. It’s only good features were maneuverability and its lightweight.
I bought this stroller without a chance to test it out….but i was very pleased with it!
I do have a couple complaints about this Zooper model: the sun cover broke after its first use
and the brake mechanism is a bit weak (you really have to make sure the brake is properly set). Usually the brake furthest from the foot brake is a bit flimsy. It could use a handrail piece like the white version of this strollers shows in its picture (is it only featured on the white models?)
Nevertheless, these are minor issues and I still recommend it over ALL other strollers! I love the fact that they included the sun and rain covers….It seems silly to not include these with all strollers as a standard feature. Its weight of 17 lbs is not a big deal since you’re just gonna unload it into a car, etc. Its features are worth 17 lbs

Those of you who are like me, have already spent way too much time researching, reading tons of reviews and agonizing over which stroller to purchase – while driving your significant other crazy. (note: we already have a full featured primary stroller, this is a secondary stroller)
I began searching for a secondary stroller to take with us on an upcoming flight. After visiting multiple stores, test driving everything and reading hundreds of reviews, I decided on the Zooper Twist.
Why: Performance and Value for the $
1. Great handling – easy to steer, well balanced, independent suspension, front swivel wheels, 1 foot brake. The wheels are large enough for basic road/sidewalk/mall usage.
2. Lightweight, very sturdy and doesn’t take up half of the trunk in the rental car.
3. Full featured – multiple reclining positions, adjustable leg rest, amazing sun canopy (almost complete coverage), canopy even unsnaps in back for air flow, includes infant padding to keep head stable, cold weather sleeping bag that zips into seat, UV Shade, Rain cover and Cup Holder.
4. I was able to break down and fold the stroller in about 15-20 seconds. It includes a self locking latch and handle that made it easy to pick up and put through security. It unfolds even quicker – simply undo the latch, pull up and then step down on the appropriate lever to lock.
This stroller traveled well and worked fantastic. The amazing canopy worked great in the hot summer sun.
Additional notes related to travel – I did purchase a lightweight folding travel bag JL Childress Gate Check Bag for Umbrella Strollers, Red to protect it when gate checking. I also used a luggage strap similar to Lewis N. Clark Deluxe Luggage Belt to ensure the stroller remained closed while in the travel bag. And finally, on a few sites with reviews, some complained that the brake cable could come work itself out of the included guides. I simply used a zip cable tie on each side (and cut off the excess tie with scissors) as added insurance to keep the cable locked in.
I am extremely happy with this stroller! (My wife even took the primary stroller out of her car the other day in favor of taking this to run her errands!) Once again, great value for the money with all the included extras. I look forward to using the sleeping bag feature in the winter!

Love this stroller! I spent months looking for the right stroller for us. I love our huge travel system but it was taking up too much space in our car for when we went shopping. I narrowed it down to Britax Blink, Keekaroo Karoo and Zooper Twist. I finally went with the Twist because the seat is removable and can be washed in the washing machine and the canopy is huge! We live in Central America so a good canopy cover is a must. Cost was not an issue for us but I am glad I spent the extra money. Everything is upgraded on the Twist from the brakes to the material. The basket is large length wise but not very deep but I was not expecting it to on an umbrella stroller. Very light weight and easy to carry, if you fold it up exactly like the instructions say the wheels do not rub on the canopy at all. The seat has some cushion to it and it reclines almost all the way flat. I found the recline easy to use even with my daughter sitting in it. I like the cup holder attachment but I will have to remember to remove it when we travel because it sticks out and would probably break off if someone is throwing it in the bottom of the plane. Overall this is an awesome stroller and I would recommend it again and again.

After doing tons of research on strollers, I finally came across the 2010 Zooper Twist. It had everything I wanted – a full recline, awesome canopy, umbrella-fold, and it is relatively lightweight. I didn’t realize how difficult it was to find all those features in one stroller. I have had it for about 2 months and couldn’t be more pleased. I especially like the accessories that come with it. We’ve already used the bug cover and I’m looking forward to keeping my little one warm in the winter with the cold weather boot. If you’re looking for all the above features, you won’t be disappointed with the 2010 Zooper twist. For those wanting to go to many places with uneven surfaces, this stroller may not work as well as others due to the small wheels. Also, if you are taller (my husband is 6 feet tall), you may find the handles a tad bit short. But if these aren’t major issues, you can’t go wrong with this stroller!
